After goodbyes at the airport dropping two of our house mates to catch their flight back to Alaska, the three of us headed off. We decided to keep their rental an extra day to drive around the island. Early start, packed lunch, beach towels. These images capture the end of the day, after exploring our new island and a marathon drive down a dirt track to reach this secluded spot, the waves were rough but it felt like the calmest place on earth. We swam, watched the sunset, laughed, stuck our heads out of the car to look at the stars and listened to Nahko and Medicine for the People all the way home.
